Ahmedabad sells wholesale — the store has to match
Almost every guide about online selling assumes you are shipping one shirt to one customer. That is not how this city trades.
A Maskati Market seller is quoting per-metre rates to a retailer who wants forty metres, needs an invoice they can claim input credit on, and will reorder the same design next month if it sold well. What that person needs from a website is very specific:
- A catalogue that loads fast on a phone — your buyer is scrolling while sitting in their own shop, often on patchy network.
- Clear pricing with volume breaks — handled through the coupon and discount engine with threshold rules.
- A WhatsApp route to negotiate — B2B deals rarely close on a checkout button, and pretending otherwise wastes everyone's time.
- Correct GST invoicing — get this wrong once with a trade buyer and the relationship is over.
- Fast reordering — customer accounts with order history and OTP login mean a regular buyer repeats an order in under a minute.
One honest limit: we do not have dealer-specific login pricing, where different buyers automatically see different rates. If that is non-negotiable for you, this platform is the wrong fit and we would rather say so now.
Where the enquiries come from
Maskati Market and the textile belt
Fabric, dress material, dupattas. Enormous stock depth, almost no digital presence. The traders who moved online early are now selling to retailers in smaller Gujarat and Rajasthan towns who used to travel here to buy.
Ratanpole
Sarees and ready-made garments. Visual category — photography quality decides conversion more than any copy on the page.
Law Garden
Mirror work, bandhani, chaniya choli. Sharply seasonal around Navratri, which makes coupon campaigns and the announcement bar genuinely useful rather than decorative.
Manufacturing and engineering SMEs
Chemicals, machinery parts, packaging. These sellers need spec-heavy product pages and an enquiry route, not an impulse-buy checkout.
GST is not optional here
A Gujarat business selling within the state issues CGST plus SGST. The same product going to Karnataka issues IGST instead. Your trade buyers need those invoices to claim input credit, and they will notice immediately if the format is wrong.
Every plan generates a CA-ready GST invoice as an Amazon-style PDF, and works out the tax treatment from the delivery address automatically. On Pro and Elite you also get per-product GST rates — necessary the moment your catalogue crosses tax slabs — plus an FY-wise invoice series with an editable start number, so you can continue from wherever your current books left off instead of restarting at 1 mid-year.
On Elite there is bulk invoice download as a ZIP and an Excel GST register export, which removes the month-end scramble of assembling data for your CA.
Shipping out of Ahmedabad
Gujarat has strong courier density and Ahmedabad sits on good road and rail links, so pickup is rarely the bottleneck. Two things usually are.
Fabric is heavy. Forty metres of dress material is not a 500g parcel. Package dimensions get set at store level so shipping is calculated on real volumetric weight rather than a guess — the most common way a textile seller quietly loses money on every order for months.
Outstation COD refusals. Shipping to smaller towns carries a higher return rate. Partial COD collects a small advance online at checkout, and PIN code state detection flags high-risk addresses before you dispatch. Both are on Pro and Elite.
On those plans, orders push into Shiprocket or Nimbus automatically the moment they are placed — pickup assigned, AWB back, tracking synced to a page on your own domain.
What it costs and how we work
Plans are a one-time setup fee. Starter gives you a complete working store with Razorpay, COD, GST invoicing and the admin panel. Pro adds courier automation, Partial COD, abandoned-cart recovery, reviews and Meta Pixel. Elite adds server-side Meta CAPI, WhatsApp order automation and multi-store admin.
On top of that you pay hosting (~₹500–800 a month) and a domain (~₹800 a year) directly to those providers. We add no markup and take no commission on your orders.
To be straightforward: we do not have an office in Ahmedabad. Our studio is in Indore and Gujarat clients work with us over WhatsApp and calls, with a staging link to review as the store fills up. That has been fine for most, but if you want someone who can physically visit your shop to collect product photos, a local Ahmedabad developer is the better choice.
