Delhi is a wholesale city, and that changes the build
Most ecommerce advice assumes a D2C brand selling single units to consumers. That is not what most Delhi sellers do, and building as if it were produces a store nobody uses.
A Gandhi Nagar garment trader is not selling one kurta to one person. They are selling forty pieces to a retailer in Lucknow who wants a price break at volume, terms on payment, and a catalogue they can scroll on a phone while sitting in their own shop.
What that seller actually needs from a website:
- A browsable catalogue that loads fast on a mid-range phone — because that is what the buyer is holding.
- Clear pricing with volume discounts — handled through the coupon and discount engine with threshold rules.
- A WhatsApp route to negotiate — because B2B deals are not closed by a checkout button.
- Proper GST invoicing — the buyer needs it for input credit, and getting it wrong ends the relationship.
- Repeat-order convenience — customer accounts with order history and OTP login so a regular buyer can reorder in seconds.
Be clear on one limit, though: we do not have dealer-specific login pricing tiers where different buyers see different rates automatically. If that is a hard requirement, this is not the right platform.
The markets we get enquiries from
Gandhi Nagar — garments
Enormous stock depth, near-zero digital presence. The traders who have moved online are usually selling to retailers in smaller UP, Bihar and Uttarakhand towns who used to travel to Delhi to buy.
Karol Bagh — mixed retail and wholesale
Footwear, apparel, accessories. A category mix where photography quality decides conversion more than anything else on the page.
Nehru Place — electronics and components
Spec-heavy products where buyers search by exact model or part number. Custom product attributes and a deep category tree matter far more than a pretty homepage.
Chandni Chowk — everything
Wedding wear, jewellery, dry fruits, stationery. Very high seasonality, which makes coupon campaigns and announcement bars genuinely useful rather than decorative.
Shipping across the NCR sprawl and beyond
Delhi sellers ship in two directions at once: hyperlocal across the NCR, and outbound to the rest of North India. Those have different economics and the store needs to reflect that.
Threshold-based shipping rules let you set free delivery above an order value that actually makes sense for your margin, rather than a flat rule that loses money on small parcels. On Pro and Elite, orders push into Shiprocket or Nimbus automatically, pickup location is assigned, and AWB tracking syncs back to a tracking page on your own domain.
For outbound orders to smaller towns where COD refusal rates run higher, Partial COD and PIN code state detection do the filtering before you dispatch rather than after the parcel returns.
Working with us from Delhi
We are based in Indore, not Delhi — there is no NCR office. Delhi clients work with us remotely over WhatsApp and calls, and get a staging link to watch the store come together.
For most traders this has been fine, because the actual work is catalogue and configuration rather than meetings. But if you want someone who can physically come to your shop in Gandhi Nagar to collect product photos, we are not that. A local Delhi developer is, and they will charge accordingly.
Cost
One-time plan fee. Starter is a complete working store with Razorpay, COD, GST invoicing and admin panel. Pro adds courier automation, Partial COD, abandoned-cart recovery, reviews and Meta Pixel. Elite adds Meta CAPI, WhatsApp order automation and multi-store admin.
Hosting (~₹500–800/month) and domain (~₹800/year) go directly to those providers with no markup from us. There is no commission on orders.
For a wholesale catalogue play, Starter is usually enough to begin. Pro earns its place once you are shipping enough orders that manual courier entry becomes a daily chore.
