Three parts, and that is all integration is
- Your software sends. It calls our API with an API key: this number, this template, these values.
- A template carries it. The message was approved by Meta once. Your software only fills the blanks — name, order number, date.
- A webhook brings things back. When the message is delivered, read, or the customer replies, we send that event to a web address you choose.
That is the whole shape. Everything else — which event triggers which message — lives in your own software, where it already belongs.
API keys, the send endpoint, documentation and outbound webhooks are on the Pro plan.

What businesses connect first
- Order updates from a store — placed, packed, shipped with tracking, delivered.
- One-time passwords — login and verification codes, using an authentication template.
- Appointment reminders — clinics, salons, service centres. The day before, and two hours before.
- Payment reminders — invoice due, payment received, receipt attached.
- Internal alerts — a new lead to the sales person, a low-stock warning to the owner.
Pick one. Connect it properly. Watch the phone calls it removes. Then add the second.
The webhook is where replies stop getting lost
Sending is the easy half. The harder question is what happens when a customer answers an automatic message.
A customer replies "wrong address" to a dispatch message. Without a webhook, that reply sits in an inbox nobody connected to the order. With one, your software receives it, links it to the order, and alerts the right person.
Replies also land in the team inbox on the platform. So a small business can start without a developer handling replies at all — the team answers from the browser — and connect the webhook later.
Delivered and read events are useful too. If a payment reminder was never read, a phone call makes more sense than a second message.

What a developer needs from you
Integration is a small job for someone who has built a website. Give them this, and it goes quickly:
- The list of events that should send a message, in order of importance.
- The exact wording of each message, with the blanks marked. We submit these as templates.
- Which fields your software already has for each blank.
- A web address on your server that can receive webhook events.
- Who should be told when a customer replies to an automatic message.
Templates for order updates, reminders and codes are utility or authentication messages. They are usually approved fast, because they are not selling anything.
If we built your online store
We also build online stores. On those, WhatsApp order alerts and abandoned cart reminders are part of the build — nobody has to write integration code. See WhatsApp ordering and alerts.
If your store runs on another platform, the API and webhooks are how it connects. Any developer who has worked with a payment gateway will recognise the pattern.
Limits worth knowing before you build
We do not offer ready-made plug-ins for Shopify, WooCommerce, Zoho, HubSpot or other CRMs. Connection is through the API and webhooks, written once by your developer. The platform does not include a CRM of its own.
Automatic messages still follow Meta's rules. Outside the 24-hour reply window, only an approved template can go. Marketing messages need opted-in contacts. Messaging tiers and the number's quality rating apply to automated sending exactly as they apply to campaigns.
The auto-reply bot is rule-based, not an AI. It does not collect payments inside WhatsApp. And there is no free trial — the first paid month is how you test it.
Pro plan, and how to start
API access and webhooks come with Pro at ₹1,290 a month. Starter (₹790) and Growth (₹990) are enough if people will do the sending from the inbox. There is no setup fee and no contract. See the plans page.
Send us the first event you want to connect and the message wording. We get the template approved while your developer reads the documentation. Most first integrations are live in a week. New to all this? Start with how to get the WhatsApp Business API.
