"Is this in M?" — the question that never stops
No other business gets as many messages per sale. Size, colour, fabric, fit. Is the kurta in the reel the same as on the site. Will it reach before Saturday. Each message is a buyer. Each one answered late is a sale gone to the brand that replied first.
On the API these messages land in a shared inbox. Whoever is on duty answers from the brand's number — the founder, the studio, a part-timer in the evening. A chat one person opened stays visible to the rest until it is marked done.
Fixed answers — size chart, return window, delivery time — come from the auto-reply bot on Growth and Pro. The rest goes to a person. The first thing a clothing brand notices on the API is not the campaigns. It is that the size question got answered at 11 pm with nobody awake.

Launches and restocks to people who asked
A launch broadcast on the WhatsApp app reaches a capped list of people who saved your number. On the API a campaign reaches every opted-in contact you imported — your store's customer list, website sign-ups, people who messaged first. With an approved template, a header image of the drop, and a button to the collection.
Restock messages convert best, because the person asked for that exact piece. Keep a list of who asked for what. Contact lists on Growth and Pro make this a named group. The restock message goes only to them.
Keep the template short. Put the best photo in the header. Make the button go to the collection, not the homepage. A message that needs three taps to reach the product loses most people who opened it.

Size questions: rules first, a person second
The bot handles fixed answers. On Pro, a chat flow can ask which product and which size, check against what you told it, and hand the chat to a person with the question already saved.
Be clear about what this is. The bot follows rules you and we write. It does not include an AI that looks at a photo and guesses a size. Anything it was not told goes to the inbox — which is exactly what a clothing customer wants when the question is "will this fit me".
The away message outside working hours, with a line saying when a person will reply, turns a silent number into one that at least answered.
Order, dispatch and exchange updates from your store
Clothing has the highest return and exchange rate of any online category. Most messages after a sale are about that. On Pro, API access lets your store send approved messages on its own — order confirmed, dispatched with tracking, exchange received, replacement sent. The customer knows without asking.
Webhooks bring replies back. A customer who answers "I ordered L, not M" reaches the inbox as a conversation, not a lost reply. And a customer who gets the "exchange received" message stops asking whether the parcel arrived. That is most of the exchange chat volume gone.
If we built your store, this is part of the build. See the online store for clothing brands page. If your store is elsewhere, any developer can connect the API and webhooks.
Do not message the customer who bought yesterday
Clothing brands run more campaigns than almost anyone. A drop, a sale, a festive edit, a restock — often in the same two weeks. That is how a number's quality rating dies. The same customer gets four messages and blocks the fifth.
Marketing cooldown on Pro sets a number of days after any marketing message when that contact is left alone. Skip-open-window keeps a paid template from going to someone you can message free. Named lists keep the sale message away from people who paid full price last week.
Brands that use these controls send more in a year than brands that blast. They still have a healthy number when the festive season comes.
What the platform does not do
It does not include an AI stylist or GPT chatbot. The bot follows rules. It does not put a catalogue or cart inside WhatsApp — the collection lives on your store, and the message carries a button to it. It does not collect payment inside the chat. It does not guarantee the green tick, does not send SMS, and does not include a built-in CRM beyond contact lists.
It does not send unlimited messages. Meta's tiers and quality rating apply to every brand. The controls above exist so you never find out where the limit is.
Plans, and what to send us
Source: Instacode.in plans, September 2026. No setup fee. Cancel any time.
No setup fee, no minimum term. Most clothing brands start on Growth for the bot and lists, and move to Pro when the store should send updates on its own. The live table is on the plans page.
To start, send a number not on the WhatsApp app, Facebook Business Manager access, your customer list as a spreadsheet, your size chart and return policy in plain words, and the next drop you want to announce. The bulk sending page shows how that first campaign goes out within Meta's rules.
