Distinctive products travel further online
A generic product competes with every other seller of that product, and price is the only lever left. A Hyderabad pearl set or a set of Laad Bazaar lac bangles is not generic — someone in Pune searching for it has very few places to go.
That changes what the store needs to do. It does not need to shout about discounts. It needs to:
- Show the product properly — multi-image galleries on every plan, product video on Pro and Elite. Lustre on a pearl and colour on lac work do not survive a single flat photo.
- Explain provenance — where it is made, how, by whom. This is the content that converts in craft categories, and most sellers skip it entirely.
- Handle fragility — bangles break in transit. Package dimensions are set at store level and the returns panel gives you a single place to process damage claims instead of a WhatsApp thread.
- Be findable — SEO-friendly product URLs and a clean category structure so someone searching for the specific thing you sell actually lands on you.
The markets we get enquiries from
Charminar and Laad Bazaar
Pearls, lac bangles, imitation jewellery. Very high tourist footfall converts poorly to repeat business, because the customer goes home to another city. An online store turns a one-time visitor into a repeat buyer, which is the single biggest opportunity here.
Begum Bazaar
Wholesale everything — kitchenware, plastics, general goods, dry fruits. Volume trade where a catalogue with clear rates saves hours of phone calls every day.
Traditional wear
Khada dupatta, pearl-work sarees, occasion wear. Long consideration cycle, high ticket, strong demand from Telugu and Hyderabadi families settled elsewhere in India and abroad.
Food and speciality
Biryani masala, haleem mixes, Karachi-style bakery products. Shelf life and food-grade packaging become the deciding operational detail.
Selling to buyers outside the city
Most of the upside here comes from customers who are not in Hyderabad. That means the store has to answer questions a walk-in customer would simply ask across the counter.
Practical things that matter: clear size and weight information on every listing, an honest shipping timeline rather than an optimistic one, order tracking on your own domain so customers stop messaging you for updates, and a returns policy that is specific per product rather than one blanket rule.
On Pro and Elite, orders push into Shiprocket or Nimbus automatically — pickup assigned, AWB back, tracking status synced. For fragile items the package dimension defaults matter more than usual, because under-declared dimensions produce both surprise charges and rough handling.
For high-value or fragile orders going to smaller towns, Partial COD does the filtering before you ship rather than after the parcel comes back broken.
What you pay
One-time plan fee, no monthly platform charge, no commission per order.
Starter covers a complete working store — Razorpay, COD, GST invoicing, admin panel, unlimited products with basic variants. For most first-time Hyderabad sellers this is the right place to begin.
Pro adds what a growing store starts needing: courier automation, Partial COD, customer reviews, product video, per-product return windows, abandoned-cart recovery and Meta Pixel.
Elite adds Meta CAPI, WhatsApp order automation, advanced analytics and multi-store admin.
Hosting (~₹500–800/month) and a domain (~₹800/year) go directly to those providers. We do not mark them up.
How the build runs
Our studio is in Indore, so Hyderabad clients work with us remotely over WhatsApp and calls. You get a staging link and can watch the catalogue load before anything goes live.
Three to five working days once your product photos and details are ready. For jewellery and craft categories, photography is the part that decides how well the store performs — a pearl set photographed badly will not sell however good the checkout is. It is worth doing properly before the build starts.
